The lehenga, lehnga or langa , is a form of ankle- length skirt from the Indian key. Different patterns and styles of traditional embroidery are used to embellish the lehenga. Gota patti embroidery is frequently used for carnivals and marriages. The lehenga is occasionally worn as the lower portion of a gagra choli or langa voni. Ghagra in Punjabi and Hindustani ( also Ghagro in Konknni), was also used to relate to the half slip or petticoat, a skirt worn as an undergarment below the sari.
